U.S. Fulbright Senior Specialist Visits Cairo Conservatoire Institute

Dr. Carrol McLaughlin, a distinguished professor of harp at the University of Arizona, has visited the Cairo Conservatoire Institute. At the Institute Dr. McLaughlin gave master classes to graduate and undergraduate students, and consulted with faculty on teaching methodology. While in Egypt, Dr. McLaughlin performed in concert at Alexandria’s Bibliotheca Alexandrina as well as at the Cairo Opera House. She visited Egypt under the auspices of the Commission’s Fulbright Specialist Program. Our warm gratitude to Dr. McLaughlin.
