6th Episode of the Fulbright-Egypt Alumni Digital Dialogue Series: “Well-Being During Covid-19: Stay Healthy”

The Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt (BFCE) aired the 6th episode of the Fulbright-Egypt Alumni Digital Dialogue Series on health and well-being during the Corona virus pandemic on July 8, 2020. The panel featured two of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship alumni who are experts on public health and mental wellness. Ms. Mariam Shokralla, WHO-HQ Health Innovation Strategist/Consultant, spoke on “How COVID is Restructuring Health Services: Global Trends and International Actors”, while Dr. Walid Hassan, Lecturer of Psychiatry at Ain Shams University, Member of Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and Psychiatrist at the Ministry of Health in Oman, gave tips on “Feeling Good During Hard Times: A Quick Guide to Mental Wellness During the Pandemic.” Interaction from the audience who watched on Zoom and Facebook was moderated by BFCE’s Executive Director, Dr. Maggie Nassif and the Fulbright team.
