U.S. Fulbrighter Conducts Research at Helwan University
An American Fulbrighter has begun to conduct research on Arabic calligraphy while affiliated with Helwan University. He is Mr. Munir Sayegh, an alumnus of Saint Ambrose University. Mr. Sayegh studied at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco in 2009 and took his B.A. degree from Saint Ambrose in 2011, majoring in graphic design. While at Helwan he will pursue his interesting in Arabic calligraphic and typographic design while working with Dr. Mustafa Abdel Rehim, a professor of printmaking in Helwan’s Faculty of Applied.
