U.S. Fulbrighter Studies “Forced Migration and Refugee Studies” at AUC

Mr. Ibrahim Elshamy, an alumnus of Dartmouth College, has enrolled in the American University in Cairo’s “Forced Migration and Refugee Studies” program. Mr. Elshamy has studied Arabic in Morocco (2006) and at AUC (2008). He graduated from Dartmouth in 2010, having majored in Asian and Middle Eastern studies and Native American studies, and in 2011 he took an M.A. degree in peace studies from the University of Ulster. Ibrahim is in Egypt under the auspices of the Commission’s U.S. Fulbright Student Program. The Commission extends a warm welcome to him!
