Commission Hosts Alumni Reunion

On February 5 the Commission’s Board of Directors and staff hosted a reception at the Cairo Marriott Hotel in honor of its AY2007-2008 Egyptian alumni. The event provided the perfect opportunity to introduce new alumni to Egypt’s Fulbright community, including Egyptian grantees from former years and American Fulbrighters who are currently in Cairo. In his welcome remarks, Executive Director Bruce A. Lohof introduced the new alumni to the Commission’s alumni circles in American studies, arts, education and science. “Whether you’re interested in the arts or humanities, sciences or social sciences,” he said, “the Commission has a circle of hospitable alumni for you.”
