U.S. Fulbright-Hays Fellow Conducts Research In Cairo
A Ph.D. candidate at University of California – Santa Barbara has begun research in Cairo. She is Ms. Heidi Morrison. Ms. Morrison holds a B.A. degree in French from the University of California – Berkeley and an M.A. degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University. While in Egypt she will conduct doctoral research on the “Concept of Childhood in Modern Egyptian History” while affiliated with Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim, a professor of mass communication at Ain Shams University and Vice President of the Children’s Studies Graduate Institute. Ms. Morrison is a Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad fellow. Her program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and administered by the Commission in Egypt… a warm welcome to Ms. Morrison!
