U.S. Fulbright-Hays Fellow Conducts Research on Coptic Studies
A Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University has begun research in Cairo. He is Mr. Anthony Shenoda. Mr. Shenoda holds a B.S. degree in geography from Oregon State University and an M.A. degree in Latin American studies from the University of Arizona. While in Egypt he will conduct doctoral research titled “Toward an Anthropology of Mystery” while affiliated with Dr. Samir Morcos, Director of the Coptic Center for Social Studies. Mr. Shenoda is a Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad fellow. His program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and administered by the Commission in Egypt. … a warm welcome to Mr. Shenoda!
