U.S. Fulbright Student Conducts Research at Cairo University
A graduate of Colgate University will begin research at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She is Ms. Naseema Noor. Ms. Noor earned her B.A degree in international relations from Colgate University. In 2004 she was awarded an Institute for International Public Policy Fellowship, a competitive fellowship for undergraduate minority students who are pursuing careers in international affairs. In Egypt, Ms. Noor will study the development of Islamic political thought since the 19th century. She will conduct her research along with Dr. Mustafa Kamel El Sayyid, Professor, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. Ms. Noor is in Egypt under the auspices of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt’s U.S. Student Program. The Commission extends a warm welcome to her!
