Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) III Fellow Begins Arabic Language Program in Egypt
An Assistant Professor of Modern Middle Eastern History in the United States has joined the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) III program hosted by the American University in Cairo. She is Dr. Michelle Campos, Assistant Professor, Department of History, University of Florida. Dr. Campos was educated at Stanford University, where she obtained a B.A. in history in 1993, an M.A. in history in 1997 and a Ph.D. in history in 2003. Dr. Campos speaks Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic and German. In addition, she reads Ladino, Ottoman Turkish, and French. Dr. Campos is in Egypt under the auspices of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt. Welcome Dr. Campos!
