U.S. Fulbright Scholar Conducts Research At Cairo University
An aerospace engineer from the United States has begun conducting research at Cairo University’s Faculty of Engineering. He is Dr. Abdel Hamid K. Mazher, an associate professor of aerospace engineering at Tuskegee University. Mazher was educated at Cairo University (B.Sc. 1973, M.Sc. 1977) and earned a Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Mazher is in Egypt under the auspices of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt’s U.S. Scholar Program. He and Dr. Samir Shaheen, Dean of the University’s Faculty of Engineering, are conducting research on the “Suitability of ABET 2000 to engineering programs in developing countries.” A warm welcome to Dr. Mazher.
