“There is no doubt about it: my experiences as an English teacher in Egypt were formative, crucial – seminal – in the progression of my academic and professional path. My next journey takes me to Jordan, where I will be interning for the upcoming semester and continuing (insha’Allah) to improve my spoken Arabic,” says Ms. Erdmann. “I have the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt to thank for giving me an opportunity that not only provided me with a great deal of meaning while it was happening, but also continues to propel my life today. “
