Ain Shams hosts U.S. Cancer Specialist from MD Anderson

Fulbright-Egypt team hosted a working dinner in honor of Fulbright U.S. Specialist to Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine Dr. Ahmed Kaseb, Director of the Hepatocellular Carcinoma Program at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The discussion saw the participation of Dr. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University; Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, Former President of Ain Shams University; and Dr. Kaseb’s host, Dr. Sherwet Al-Ahmady, Director of Ain Shams University International Relations Office; Dr. Shahira Samir, Professor of Dentistry at the Knowledge Hub in New Administrative Capital; Dr. Fatima Ebeid, Professor of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and Executive Director of Ain Shams Oncology Clinical Research Center; and Dr. Aly Azmy, Head of Oncology Department at Ain Shams University. The guests were welcomed by Executive Director Dr. Maggie Nassif; Senior Program Officer Mai Ayyad; and Senior Operations Officer Raafat Fayez, who discussed ways of further collaboration to support Ain Shams University’s efforts in cancer research and treatment.
