Fulbright US Scholar Symposium: Research and Innovation in Chemistry and Energy under the auspices of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology

The Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt (BFCE) hosted the Sustainability Symposium: Research and Innovation in Chemistry and Energy under the auspices of the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in partnership with the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute and the National Committee for Pure and Applied Chemistry. The event which took place at the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute in Nasr City featured U.S. Fulbright Scholars: Dr. Igor Lyubinetsky, Faculty Research Scientist at the School of Chemical Engineering at Oregon State University who gave a talk on Synthesis and Characterization of Oxide Quantum Dots for Solar Hydrogen Production from Water and Dr. Foster Agblevor, Distinguished Professor and Director of Bioenergy Center at Utah State University who spoke on Technologies for the future – Today’s Waste Is Tomorrow’s Raw Material. The Fulbright team gave an information session on Fulbright opportunities to a national audience of experts who came from several universities and research centers and who were welcomed by President of the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute, Dr. Mahmuod Ramzy and President of the National Committee for Pure and Applied Chemistry Dr. Nadia Kandile.
