Fulbright US Scholar Session: Human Immune System in Health and Disease

The Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt (BFCE) hosted a session under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and Population in partnership with Princess Fatma Academy titled “Human Immune System in Health and Disease.” The session featured Fulbright U.S. Scholar Dr. Manas Mandal, Professor at the College of Pharmacy at Roseman University of Health Sciences who gave a lecture on the fundamentals of immunology which was attended by leaders and staff of the Laboratory Administration of the Ministry of Health. The audience was welcomed by Dr. Ahmed ElGohary, Advisor to the Minister of Health for Technical Education Affairs, Dr. Nancy ElGuindy, Head of the Laboratories Department at the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Sahar Farag, Director of Princess Fatma Academy. The Fulbright Egypt team also gave an information session on the opportunities available to study and conduct research in the U.S.
