H.E. Minister of Higher Education Hosts the Fulbright Commission Binational Board of Directors

Chair of the Fulbright Commission Prof. Ayman Ashour hosted the October Fulbright Commission in Egypt Board meeting to receive the annual report and approve the 2024-2025 proposal. The Minister welcomed new Board members, Mr. Ruben Harutunian, Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, and Dr. Sherif Saleh, Head of Central Administration for International Students’ Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education. The BFCE Board of Directors, which includes Mr. Wick Powers, Director of Education and Health Office at USAID Egypt, Mr. Raymond Miller, Founding Partner at Rafaat and Miller for Construction, and Dr. Mustafa Rifat, Secretary General of Supreme Council of Universities, accepted the annual proposal and discussed new opportunities for next year.

It is worth noting that the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt is the largest and oldest Fulbright Program in the MENA region.
