U.S. Fulbright Student Conducts Research at Center for the Elderly
A U.S. Fulbright Student has begun research at Cairo University’s Center for the Elderly. He is Mr. Jeffery Culang. Mr. Culang graduated from Ithaca College in 2002 and earned an M.A. degree in Middle Eastern studies from New York University in 2005. While affiliated with Dr. Sayed Seif El Din, Director of the Center for the Elderly, Mr. Culang will pursue a study of Aging, Death, and Dying in Egypt. Prior to pursuing his research at the Center, Mr. Culang is studying Arabic at the International Language Institute under the auspices of the Commission’s Critical Language Enhancement Award (CLEA) Program. The Commission extends a warm welcome to him.
