BFCE Visits Alexandria University Center for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language, May 2025

Professor Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, welcomed Executive Director Dr. Maggie Nassif, accompanied by Mr. Asser Hany, Assistant Programs Manager. The meeting was attended by the Fulbright Ph.D. Joint Supervision Advisor Dr. Gaby Semaan, Director of Middle East Studies and Coordinator of the Arabic Program at the Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Toledo. The Fulbright delegation visited the Alexandria University Center for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language, accompanied by the Vice President and Assistants to the President for International Cooperation. The delegation was welcomed by TAFL Center Director Dr. Lana Habib, who was joined by TAFL professors and program directors who gave an overview of the offerings and activities.
