BFCE OUTREACH VISIT AT the National Research Center, September 2024

Fulbright- Egypt Executive Director Maggie Nassif paid a visit to Dr. Fagr Abdel Gawad, the first female Acting President of the National Research Center (NRC) which was established in 1956. The visit included discussions on future collaboration, a tour of the NRC exhibition hall which includes prototypes of the inventions and patents of the resident scientists and an information session on Fulbright opportunities by Assistant Program Manager Asser Hany. The long-standing partnership between the NRC and the Commission has allowed numerous Egyptian scientists to travel to the U.S. and American researchers to come to Egypt for collaborative research most recently in the fields of water desalination, chemical engineering, nutrition and liver disease.

و تضمن اللقاء مناقشه اوجه التعاون و زياره معرض الاختراعات والبراءات العلميه و ندوه تعريفيه القاها مساعد مدير البرامج أ. آسر هاني. و قد اسفرت الشراكه الممتده بين المركز القومي للبحوث و هيئه فولبرايت عن اتاحه العديد من الفرص للباحثين المصريين للسفر واجراء الابحاث في الولايات المتحده و جلب باحثين امريكيين لاجراء ابحاث مشتركه في مجالات عديده كانت احدثها في مجال تحليه المياه والهندسه الكيميائيه والتغذيه وامراض الكبد.
