U.S. NURSING EXPERT SPENDS FOUR WEEKS AT BADR UNIVERSITY ON A FULBRIGHT PROGRAM

The Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt hosted a workshop for Deans of Nursing Education Colleges in Egypt, which was led by Dr. Brenda Moore, U.S. Fulbright Specialist to Badr University in Cairo, in partnership with Suez Canal University and El Galala University on Nursing Education Simulation Labs.

The audience who represented Faculties of Nursing Education at Sohag, Beni Suef, Fayoum, Tanta, Kafr El Sheikh, Port Said, Benha, Damietta, Mansoura, South Valley, Zagazig, Menoufia, Suez Canal, Helwan, Alexandria, Ain Shams and Cairo Universities, were joined by Nursing Deans from Badr, El Galala, 6th October and the Modern University for Technology and Information. The commission was also honored with the presence of the Head of the Egyptian Nursing Syndicate. Dr. Moore, who is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Texas Woman’s University spent four weeks providing training in Cairo as part of her Fulbright U.S. Specialist Program which brings U.S experts to Egyptian universities and public sector entities for a period of 2 to 6 weeks.
