U.S. Fulbright Specialist Conducts Seminars at American University in Cairo

An Artist Researcher, who explores the interfaces between culture, memory, phenomenology, social mind and Post-Fordist economic structures, has conducted a series of seminars for Graduate and Undergraduate Arts Students, Department of Fine Arts, American University in Cairo on his artworks on two levels: as art objects displayed and exhibited as well as teaching devices.  He is Dr. Warren Neidich, who lectured at many American universities such as Harvard University, Duke University and University of California. Dr. Neidich visited the American University in Cairo under the auspices of the Commission’s Fulbright Specialist Program, which provides short-term opportunities for Egyptian institutions and American scholars to increase collaboration between the United States and Egypt.  The Commission is grateful for Dr. Warren Neidich’s collaboration.
