U.S. Fulbright Scholar Conducts Research at Cairo University
Dr. Randy Gaugler, Professor and Director of the Center for Vector Biology at Rutgers University, has begun conducting research at Cairo University. Dr. Gaugler graduated from North Dakota State University in 1972 with a B.Sc. in Agriculture and Microbiology, in 1974 he took an M.Sc. degree from North Carolina State University and in 1978 a Ph.D. degree from University of Wisconsin. While in Egypt he will conduct research on “Behavioral Ecology of Mosquito-Parasitic Mermithid Nematodes” in affiliation with Cairo University. Dr. Gaugler is in Egypt with his wife Cheryl Ray Gaugler. The Commission extends a warm welcome to them both.
