U.S. Fulbright Scholar Conducts Research at Cairo University
Dr. Carol Riphenburg, a professor in Political Science at College of DuPage, has begun conducting research at Cairo University. Dr. Riphenburg was educated at the University of Wisconsin(B.A. 1967) and in 1969 she took an M.A. degree from Georgetown University. In 1981 she got her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While in Egypt she will conduct research on “Women and Political Participation in Egypt; Opportunities and Encumbrances for Women following the January 25 Revolution” while affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, at Cairo University.
