U.S. Fulbright Specialist Conducts Workshop at American University in Cairo
An economist from the University of Kansas has conducted a series of seminars for faculty members and graduate students at the American University in Cairo. He is Dr. Mohamed Ali El-Hodiri, a professor of economics at Kansas. The workshop was co-sponsored by the AUC School of Business and the Commission’s Fulbright Specialist Program, and managed by the chair of AUC’s Department of Economics, Dr. Ahmed Kamaly. The Fulbright Specialist Program provides short-term opportunities for Egyptian institutions and American scholars to increase collaboration between the United States and Egypt. The Commission is grateful for Dr. El-Hodiri’s collaboration with AUC.
