Egyptian Fulbrighter Meets Coptic Leaders in California
Ms. Mai Mogib, a teaching assistant in Cairo University’s Faculty of Economics and Political Science, has consulted with several Coptic leaders in California. Ms. Mai is affiliated with the University of California – Los Angeles, pursuing post-graduate research on “Inclusion and Marginalization Policies: the Egyptian Situation.” Her research has included interviews with Grace Bishop Sirapion at the St. Maurice Orthodox Church in Pomona, and Mr. Mouir Bishay, head of the Coptic Association in California. Ms. Mai is pursuing research at UCLA under the auspices of the Commission’s Egyptian Student Program.
