Zagazig University Student Speaks at Michigan State
One of the Commission’s Master’s Degree students has presented a paper at the Language Research Forum hosted by Michigan State University. He is Mr. Ayman A. Mohamed, a teaching assistant at Zagazig University who is pursuing a master’s degree in linguistics at the University of North Texas. Mr. Ayman’s presentation, “Incidental Vocabulary Acquisition in ESL Conversation Classes,” was “well received by the audience,” he reported. He also noted that the forum was a good opportunity for him to describe “Egyptian culture and tradition to the other participants.” Mr. Ayman is studying at North Texas under the auspices of the Commission’s Master’s Degree Program, which is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. Congratulations to Mr. Ayman.
