U.S. Fulbright Student Conducts Research at the Suez Canal University
A doctoral student at the Iowa State University has reached Egypt to conduct research at the Faculty of Agriculture, Suez Canal University. She is Ms. Elise Regen. Ms. Regen was educated at Utah State University (B.S. 2003, M.S.S. 2005), and is completing a Ph.D. degree in sustainable agriculture at the Iowa State University. While at Suez Canal University Ms. Regen will study “Rural Egyptian Women and Household Livelihood Strategies with Livestock.” Ms. Regen is in Cairo under the auspices of the Commission’s U.S. Student Program.
