FLTA Grantee Hosts Marlboro College Arabic Class in Egypt

Mr. Ahmed Salama, an AY2008-2009 Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) at Marlboro College, is touring Egypt with his Marlboro Arabic students. The study tour began on March 17 with an informal lunch at the Villa. In Egypt, Mr. Ahmed’s students are immersing themselves in the language while acquainting themselves with Egypt’s history and culture. Their tour includes visits to Alexandria, Cairo, and Mansoura, as well as Mr. Ahmed’s hometown, Mahla Al-Kubra. The Commission applauds Mr. Ahmed’s initiative in organizing the tour and extends a warm welcome to the visitors from Marlboro College.
