U.S. Fulbright Student Conducts Research at Academy of Arts
A graduate student from Harvard University has reached Egypt to conduct research at the Academy of Arts. She is Ms. Diana Esposito. Ms. Esposito earned a B.A. degree in 2005 from the Honors College of the City University of New York, majoring in Middle Eastern Studies and political journalism, and in 2008 she took an M.A. degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard. She has studied Arabic at the American University in Cairo and at Columbia University. While at the Institute Ms. Esposito will study “The Egyptian Belly Dance Profession: a socio-historic inquiry into the reasons for decline.” Ms. Esposito is in Cairo under the auspices of the Commission’s U.S. Student Program. … a warm welcome to her.
