Commission Reaches Out to Al Azhar University

On January 24 and 29 the Commission’s Executive Director Dr. Bruce A. Lohof visited Al Azhar University. On January 24 he paid a call on the women’s campus, where he met with Dr. Mervat Bakir, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, and on January 29 he conferred with Dr. A. Nossair, Vice President, Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Ezz Eledeen Al-Sawee, Vice President, Girls Faculty Affairs. On both campuses Dr. Lohof explained the Commission and its exchange programs. Through visits like this, the Commission is able to reach wider and deeper into Egypt’s academic and professional communities.
