U.S. Fulbright Student Conducts Research at Cairo University
A graduate of the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor has reached Egypt to conduct research at Cairo University. She is Ms. Pauline L. Lewis. Ms. Lewis earned a B.A. degree in history at Michigan in 2007. While affiliated with Dr. Heba Raouf of Cairo University’s Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Ms. Lewis will study “A Question of Leadership: Egyptian Women in Politics and Public Life.” Prior to pursuing her research, Ms. Lewis is studying Arabic at the Arabic Language Institute under the auspices of the Commission’s Critical Language Enhancement Award (CLEA) Program. The Commission extends a warm welcome to her!
