U.S. Fulbright Scholar Lectures at AUC
An associate professor of American literature from the United States has begun lecturing the American University in Cairo. She is Susan E. Kollin, an associate professor of English at Montana State University – Bozeman. Dr. Kollin was educated at the University of Michigan (B.A., English, 1988) and received a Ph.D. degree in American Literature from the University of Minnesota in 1995. She is in Egypt as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, teaching American studies in AUC’s Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud Center for American Studies and Research. Dr. Kollin is accompanied by her husband, Daniel Flory, who has begun teaching in AUC’s Department of Philosophy, as well as their daughters Michaela Kollin and Alexandra Flory, who are studying at the Cairo American College.
