I am grateful for the people I met, the memories I shared and all the food and fresh juice I consumed.  Fresh juice and Molokhaya in New York is not as ubiquitous as it is in Cairo.  I spent Ramadan “sahours” and “fatours” with Egyptian friends—staying up during the early morning hours talking, playing cards, praying and preparing our “bayd, foul wa zibadi”.  These were the most memorable moments of my life. I take every chance to converse with Egyptians, to discuss politics, ask what they miss most about Egypt and share Mounir songs. “Tarakt 2lby fe Masr”. There will never be a place like Egypt.
