Minister of Agriculture and Fulbright Scholar Alumnus, Dr. Ezzedlin Abou Steit Welcomes BFCE Team

Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt (BFCE) met with Minister of Agriculture and Fulbright Scholar alumnus, Dr. Ezzedlin Abou Steit to discuss the Egypt Food Security Alumni Research Project. Dr. Nassif was accompanied by Dr. Ali Shams Eldin, Former President of Benha and BFCE’s consultant on the project and Ms. Ranya Rashed, Fulbright Director of Programs. The alumni opportunity which will bring a cohort of four junior Fulbright alumni from Egypt and the U.S. in the fields of agriculture and water management together to collaborate on joint research is currently accepting applications with a March 20^th, 2019 deadline.
