Dr. Mai Tolba – TED talk

Watch Fulbright Scholar program Alumni, Dr. Mai Tolba give a TED talk on why immune cells fail to recognize cancer cells and how immunotherapy represents a new hope for cancer patients. Mai Tolba, who is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, received a Fulbright Scholar Award in 2015 to conduct post-doctoral research in the U.S. Her work aims at enhancing the tumor’s response to immunotherapy and improve the wellbeing of cancer patients.
