BFCE Visit to Benha University, May 2026

President of Benha University, Dr. Nasser El Gizawy welcomed the Fulbright Commission in Egypt team, led by Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission in Egypt m. Dr. Nassif was accompanied by Ms. Noha Salah, Senior Program Officer. The meeting focussed on Fulbright opportunities to host U.S. Scholars and Specialists.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University, along with the deans and vice deans of the Faculties of Education and Arts, in addition to the Director of the Language Center and the Director of the International Relations Office.

Following the meeting, an information session was held on opportunities available for travel to study and conduct scientific research in the U.S. The session was attended by Dr. Hisham Hassan, Head of the English Department and alumnus of the IELP Program for English Language Teachers.

استقبل أ.د. ناصر الجيزاوي، معالي رئيس جامعة بنها فريق هيئة فولبرايت برئاسة د. ماجي نصيف، المدير التنفيذي لهيئة فولبرايت وبرفقتها أ. نهى صلاح مسؤول البرامج الأول، وذلك لمناقشة فرص استضافة أساتذة وخبراء أمريكيين من خلال برامج الباحثين الأمريكيين والمتخصصين الأمريكيين التابعة لفولبرايت.

وحضر اللقاء أ.د. جيهان عبد الهادي، نائب رئيس الجامعة، إلى جانب السادة عمداء ووكلاء كليات التربية والآداب، بالإضافة إلى السيدة مدير مركز اللغات والسيد مدير مكتب العلاقات الدولية. وعقب اللقاء ندوة تعريفية حول الفرص المتاحة للسفر للدراسة وإجراء الأبحاث العلمية بحضور أ.د. هشام حسن رئيس قسم اللغة الإنجليزية وخريج برنامج ال IELP لمدرسين اللغة الإنجليزية.
