BFCE Visit to the Damanhour University, April 2026

Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission was welcome by Dr. Elhamy Trabes, President of Damanhour University, during her visit to the campus accompanied by Mr. Asser Hany, Assistant Program Manager. The meeting focused on opportunities available for faculty members, graduate students, and professionals from Damanhour Governorate to travel to the United States for study, training, and research. The meeting was attended by the University Vice Presidents: Dr. Magdy Shaala, Dr. Manal Abdel Rahman, and Dr. Enas Ibrahim. The visit was coordinated by Dr. Menaa Mubarak, International Relations Coordinator at the University, in cooperation with Dr. Hanaa Abu Zeid, Head of the Crop Department at the Faculty of Agriculture and Fulbright Egyptian Scholar Program alumna. The visit was followed by an information session led by the Fulbright team, hosted by Dr. Abdel Aziz Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, vice deans, department heads, faculty members, and students from various faculties.
