BFCE Visits New Valley Governorate, April 2025

H.E. Governor of New Valley Major General Mohamed Al Zamalout welcomed Fulbright-Egypt Executive Director Dr. Maggie Nassif accompanied by a Fulbright delegation to discuss ways for collaboration to support young talent in the governorate. The team also had a planning meeting with Deputy Governor Ms. Hanan Magdy to present Fulbright opportunities for graduate students; scholars; professionals and graduates of technical schools to travel and study in the U.S. This is in addition to possibilities for Egyptian institutions, ministries and universities to host U.S. Specialists in several field. The Fulbright team led by Mr. Asser Hany, Assistant Program Manager; Mr. Raymond Barsoum, Coaching Consultant and Assistant Program Officer Ms. Eman Medhat gave an information session and training to employees of the governorate and municipalities. The visit was coordinated by Ms. Omneya Masoud, Office Manager of the New Valley Deputy Governor.

استقبل السيد اللواء محمد الزملوط محافظ الوادي الجديد د. ماجي نصيف المدير التنفيذي لهيئة فولبرايت والوفد المرافق لها لمناقشة سبل التعاون لدعم الشباب بالمحافظة. وفي خلال لقاء تخطيطي مع سيادة نائبة المحافظ السيدة حنان مجدي تم عرض فرص فولبرايت للسفر والدراسة بالولايات المتحدة لطلاب الدراسات العليا، وأساتذة الجامعات والمهنيين وخريجين المدارس الفنية. هذا إلى جانب إمكانية استضافة الهيئات والوزارات والجامعات المصرية لخبراء أمريكيين في شتى المجالات. وقام أعضاء فريق فولبرايت وهم الأستاذ آسر هاني مساعد مدير برامج وأستاذ ريموند برسوم استشاري تدريب وأستاذة إيمان مدحت مساعدة مسئول برامج بإلقاء ندوة تعريفية وتدريب عملي للفيف من العاملين بديوان عام المحافظة والمحليات. وقام بتنظيم الزيارة أستاذة أمنيه مسعود مدير مكتب نائب محافظ الوادي الجديد
