U.S. Fulbright Scholar Conducts Research at Helwan University

An associate professor from West Chester University of Pennsylvania has begun conducting research at Helwan University. She is Dr. Virginia Marie daCosta. Dr. daCosta was educated at the State University of New York – Albany (B.A. 1980), California State University – Long Beach (M.A. 1990) and the University of California – Santa Barbara (Ph.D. 1997). She is in Egypt as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and will conduct research on “Women in Egypt: Traditional Crafts and Fine Arts.” The Commission extends a warm welcome to Ginger!
