BFCE Visit to the Damanhour University, April 2026

Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission was welcomed by Dr. Elhamy Tarabees, President of Damanhour University, during her visit to the campus accompanied by Mr. Aser Hany, Assistant Program Manager. The meeting focussed on opportunities available to host U.S. Specialists in the Beheira goverbnorate and for faculty members, graduate students, and professionals from Damanhour to travel to the United States for study, training, and research. The meeting was attended by the University Vice Presidents: Dr. Magdy Shaala, Dr. Manal Abdel Rahman, and Dr. Enas Ibrahim. The visit was coordinated by Dr. Menaa Mubarak, International Relations Coordinator at the University, in cooperation with Dr. Hanaa Abu Zeid, Head of the Crop Department at the Faculty of Agriculture and Fulbright Egyptian Scholar Program alumna to the University of Nebraska. The meeting was followed by an information session led by the Fulbright team, hosted by Dr. Abdel Aziz Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, vice deans, department heads, faculty members, and students from various faculties.
