BFCE Visit to the Egypt Healthcare Authority
Dr. Ahmed Sobky, Head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority welcomed Fulbright Commission Executive Director Dr. Maggie Nassif accompanied by Mr. Asser Hany, Assistant Program Manager. The meeting focused on discussing ways for collaboration through Fulbright opportunities for Egyptian talent to travel to study in the U.S. and for American experts to offer training workshops and collaborate with their Egyptian counterparts on projects and scientific research.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamad, Advisor for Healthcare Systems and Policies and General Manager of the Technical Office; Dr. Mohannad Atef, Head of the Research and Studies Administration and Dr. Shady Farahat, Head of the Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit.
As a follow up to the meeting, the Healthcare Authority hosted the Fulbright team at an online info session to share details about the Hubert Humphrey fellowship with employees of the Healthcare Authority.
استقبل رئيس هيئة الرعاية الصحية د. أحمد السبكي، المدير التنفيذي لهيئة فولبرايت د. ماجي نصيف وبصحبتها مساعد مدير البرامج أ. آسر هاني لمناقشة أوجه التعاون عن طريق توفير فرص فولبرايت للشباب المصري للسفر إلى الولايات المتحدة للدراسة و استضافة خبراء أمريكيين لعقد ورش تدريبية والعمل مع نظرائهم المصريين على المشاريع والأبحاث العلمية.
وحضر اللقاء د. أحمد حماد، مستشار رئيس الهيئة للسياسات والنظم الصحية ومدير عام الإدارة العامة للمكتب الفني لرئيس الهيئة، ود. مهند عاطف، مدير إدارة الدراسات والبحوث، ود. شادي فرحات، رئيس وحدة التطوير والابتكار وريادة الأعمال.
وعقب اللقاء استضافة هيئة الرعاية الصحية فريق فولبرايت في ندوة افتراضية على تطبيق زووم لعرض تفاصيل زمالة “هيوبرت همفري” لإعداد القادة على العاملين بالهيئة.
