BFCE Visits the Ministry of Local Development, January 2025

H.E. Minister of Local Development Dr. Manal Awad welcomed Fulbright-Egypt Executive Director Dr. Maggie Nassif. The discussion focused on ways for collaboration through offering Fulbright grants in all fields to graduate students, scholars and professionals. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Hossam El Qaweesh, Minister Assistant for International Cooperation; Ms. Manal Faress, Assistant Fulbright Operations Manager; Ms. Mai Ayad, Senior Program Officer and Mr. Ramez Hany, Senior Operations Officer. The meeting also included discussions on hosting American Specialists in all fields to support the ministry’s strategies and priorities, including hosting training sessions at the Sakara Training Center for municipalities staff at the ministry and various governorates.
