GOVERNOR OF Aswan WELCOMES THE FULBRIGHT COMMISSION’S TEAM, April 2024
H.E. Governor of Aswan Major General Ashraf Attiya received the Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission in Egypt, Dr. Maggie Nassif, accompanied by the Commission team and alumni at an information session and iftar that was hosted by the Commission at the Movenpick Hotel in Aswan.The Commission was honored by the presence of Aswan University President Dr. Ayman Othman and Vice Presidents Dr. Mohamed Orabi and Dr. Loaey Saad El Din. Dr. Atallah Hashad, President of the Aswan branch of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transportation, Secretary General Engineer Fatma Ibrahim, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Endowments Sheikh Hanafy Mahmoud Diab and several members of the governorate leadership were also in attendance.
H.E. the Governor was pleased by the ongoing cooperation between the governorate of Aswan and the Fulbright Commission to support human capital through Fulbright opportunities to study and conduct research in the United States of America.
استقبل معالي محافظ أسوان اللواء أشرف عطية المدير التنفيذي لهيئة فولبرايت بمصر د. ماجي نصيف وبرفقتها فريق عمل الهيئة وخريجيها في ندوه تعريفيه وافطار استضافته الهيئة بفندق موفنبيك بمحافظة أسوان.وشرفت الهيئة بحضور السيد رئيس جامعة أسوان د. أيمن عثمان والسادة النواب د. محمد عرابي و د. لؤي سعد الدين والسيد رئيس فرع الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري بأسوان د. عطا الله حشاد والمهندس فاطمه ابراهيم سكرتير عام المحافظة والشيخ حنفي محمود دياب وكيل وزارة الأوقاف الى جانب لفيف من قيادات المحافظة والأساتذة.
وأعرب معالي المحافظ عن سعادته باستمرار التعاون بين محافظة اسوان وهيئة فولبرايت لدعم الثروة البشرية بالمحافظة من خلال فرص فولبرايت للدراسة او اجراء الابحاث في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية.
