2nd Episode of FULBRIGHT ARTS ALUMNI DIGITAL DIALOGUE – MAY 12, 2020
The Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt (BFCE) aired its 2nd episode of the Fulbright Ramadan Performances and Art Alumni Digital Dialogues: Creative Healing led by two Fulbright alumni from the visual and performance arts from Egypt and the United States. Dr. Khaled Hafez, a visual artist and filmmaker, spoke about healing through longer studio hours during the Coronavirus pandemic and Dr. Douglas weeks, pianist and music professor at Converse College, played the Schubert sonata in B-flat major. The event was streamed on Facebook and Zoom and was followed by an interactive question and answer session that was coordinated by Dr. Maggie N. Nassif, Executive Director and the Fulbright Commission team.
