U.S. Fulbrighter Conducts Research at Ain Shams University

Ms. Sara Hassani, an American Fulbright student, is conducting research on hepatitis C while affiliated with Ain Shams University. Ms. Hassani was educated at the Johns Hopkins University (B.A. 2010) and in 2011 she received a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. While at Ain Shams she is pursuing her interest in “Modeling the Vertical Transmission of Hepatitis C in Egypt” with Professor Sanaa M. Kamal of the Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine.
