U.S. Fulbright Scholar Lectures and Conducts Research at Ain Shams University
Dr. Kathleen Marie Cain, Acting Vice Provost and Associate Professor, Gettysburg College, has begun lecturing and conducting research at the Institute of Postgraduate Childhood Studies, Ain Shams University. Dr. Cain was educated at the College of the Holy Cross (B.A.1981), and the University of Illinois (M.A. 1986, Ph.D. 1990). She is in Egypt as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and will lecture and conduct research on children’s development with particular attention to social cognition in children with special needs. She is in Cairo with her husband, U.S. Fulbright Scholar Dr. Karl Lorenz, and their three children, Nick, Maria, and Kieran. The Commission extends a warm welcome to Dr. Cain, Karl, Kieran, Maria and Nick!
