Tucker School Gets New Football Coach

A girls football team in Lafayette, Indiana, has a new assistant coach. He is Mr. Mokhles El Sysy, a participant in the Commission’s Fulbright Student Program. The team, “Talk to Tucker,” plays in the Greater Lafayette Recreational Soccer Alliance’s U12 Girls League. Mr. Mokhles graduated from Assuit University in 2006, majoring in horticulture. He is currently studying the “molecular control of flowering in apple” while affiliated with Dr. Peter M. Hirst at Purdue University’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. Dr. Hirst is the “Talk to Tucker” head coach. Go Tucker!
