U.S. Fulbright Scholar Conducts Research at Cairo University

Dr. Noor-Aiman Iftikhar Khan, an assistant professor of history at Colgate University, has begun research at Cairo University. While in Cairo she will study “Indian Nationalism and Anti-Imperial Movements” and “Internationalism in Egyptian Nationalism” while affiliated with Cairo University’s Faculty of Arts. Dr. Khan was educated at University of Chicago (B.A. 1992, M.A. 1994, Ph.D. 2006). She is in Egypt with her husband, Nady Abdel-Ghaffar, as well as their son, Iftikhar Nady Abdel-Ghaffar. The Commission extends a warm welcome to them.
