U.S. Fulbright Student at Center for Arabic Study Abroad
A graduate student at Columbia University will begin intensive Arabic language studies at the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) in Cairo. She is Ms. Elizabeth Marie Holt. Ms. Holt earned a B.A. degree from Harvard in 2000, majoring in Arabic language and literature, with minors in French literature and film. She is currently studying for a Ph.D. degree in Arabic and Francophone literature at Columbia University. While in Egypt she will attend the CASA Program hosted at the American University in Cairo. Ms. Holt is in Cairo under the auspices of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt’s U.S. Student Program. The Commission extends a warm welcome to her!
