The Binational Commission in Egypt Hosts the Second Regional Fulbright Student Alumni Conference
Fulbright Student Alumni from ten countries in the MENA region convened for a three-day Conference on February 20-22, 2016, in Cairo. The conference, which was cosponsored by AMIDEAST, focused on best practices in the field of public health in the Arab world and served as a platform for Fulbright alumni to share their experience and network with leaders in the field of health in Egypt. The Commission hosted local experts such as Dr Maha El Rabat former Minister of Health as well as Dr Elaine Bond former Dean of Nursing at Brigham Young University . Established in 1949, the Commission in Egypt has over 6,000 Egyptian and American Fulbright alumni.
